You started your mineral balancing protocol with hope. Maybe you even felt a little better at first. And then... you hit a wall.
The fatigue is overwhelming. You can barely get through the day. Getting off the couch feels like climbing a mountain. Even picking up your phone feels like too much effort.
You're wondering: "Is this program making me worse? Should I stop?"
The answer is no. And here's why.

Fatigue Is The #1 Most Common Healing Reaction
If you're experiencing fatigue on your mineral balancing journey, you're not alone. In fact, fatigue is the single most common symptom people experience as their body heals.
And here's the part that might surprise you: it's a good sign.
I know that sounds backwards. You feel terrible. How can that be good?
Because fatigue means your body finally has what it needs to do the deep work it's been waiting to do.
Let me explain.
Why Does Healing Cause Fatigue?
Your Body Is A Construction Crew
Think of your body like a construction crew that's been waiting to rebuild a damaged house.
For years, your crew has been standing around because they didn't have the building materials they needed. No lumber. No nails. No tools. So they just... waited. And while they waited, they had plenty of energy left over for you to use in your daily life.
Then you started your mineral balancing protocol.
Suddenly, the building materials arrived. Your crew looked around, saw everything they needed, and immediately got to work.
They started tearing out damaged structures. Removing toxic materials. Repairing broken systems. Rebuilding from the ground up.
And all of that takes energy. Massive amounts of energy.
So your body diverts energy away from your daily activities (your muscles, your brain, your ability to function) and redirects it toward healing. The crew is working overtime. And you feel exhausted.
But here's the key: your body isn't producing less energy. It's using that energy for something more important than getting you through your to-do list.
It's healing you.
10 Reasons Why Fatigue Happens During Healing
Fatigue can happen for many reasons during your mineral balancing journey. Here are the most common:
1. Your Body Finally Has The Nutrients It Needs To Heal
"Once the building materials arrive, we can start rebuilding this house!"
When you start your personalized mineral protocol, your body is getting the exact combination of nutrients it needs—maybe for the first time in years.
Your body has been aware of issues it wanted to fix: toxic metals stored in your tissues, old infections, damaged organs, weak adrenal glands. But without the right minerals, it couldn't address them.
Now it can.
So your body dives in and starts working. It pulls energy away from your daily tasks and directs it toward repair. You feel tired because your internal "crew" is working hard behind the scenes.
This is progress. Even when it doesn't feel like it.
2. Your Body Has Enough Energy To Tackle A Big Healing Job
"We need more crew members to lift this huge beam!"
Some healing jobs require more energy than your body currently has. So your body waits.
It works on smaller repairs in the meantime, gradually building up your energy reserves. During this phase, you might actually feel pretty good. Your energy improves. You start to feel hopeful.
Then, suddenly, you crash.
What happened? Your body finally had enough energy to tackle that big job it's been waiting to do. So all available energy gets diverted to that healing process, and you feel wiped out.
This can be confusing because you were feeling so good right before the fatigue hit. But experienced clients learn to recognize this pattern and even laugh about it: "I'm feeling great... I wonder what's about to heal next!"
The fatigue will pass. And when it does, you'll feel even better than before.
3. Your Body Is Releasing Stimulant Toxic Metals
"Taking away the crew's coffee."
This is a big one.
Most people today are running on toxic metals like copper, mercury, or lead that act as stimulants. These metals force your adrenal glands and thyroid to work harder, creating the illusion of energy.
It's like running on 12 cups of coffee a day. You seem energetic, but underneath, you're exhausted. You're a tired horse being whipped to go faster.
When you start mineral balancing, your body realizes it's finally going to get real energy from minerals and nutrients. So it starts releasing those toxic metals it's been using as "crutches."
And when those stimulants are gone? You feel your true level of exhaustion.
This is temporary. Your body only releases these metals when it knows it can replace that fake energy with real, sustainable energy. As your mineral balance restores, your energy will climb again—this time built on a solid foundation, not toxic crutches.
(This process can show up on your HTMA retest as sodium and potassium levels dropping temporarily. If this happens and your fatigue is severe, reach out to me immediately so I can adjust your protocol.)
4. Detoxifying Toxins Takes Enormous Energy
"Getting the asbestos out of this house is hard work!"
When your body releases stored toxins and heavy metals, your liver, kidneys, and other detox organs have to work overtime to process and eliminate them.
Some metals (like cadmium) are especially draining to remove. The elimination process itself requires massive energy, and you feel exhausted while it's happening.
Once the toxin is fully eliminated, the fatigue lifts.

5. Your Body Is Repairing Damaged Tissue
"Gutting the entire house" and "Closed for business during repairs."
Tissue repair is one of the most exhausting healing processes your body can do.
By the time most people start mineral balancing, they have weak cells and damaged tissues throughout their body—in organs, joints, bones, gums, and more. Your body has to break down that damaged tissue and rebuild it with healthy, strong cells.
This takes immense energy.
Additionally, while a particular tissue or organ is being repaired, it might be "closed for business." If that organ is involved in energy production (like your adrenals or thyroid), you'll feel even more fatigued while it heals.
But once it's rebuilt? It functions better than it has in years.
6. Your Body Is Clearing Old Infections
"Oh no, we found mold in the walls!"
Almost everyone today has old, chronic infections hiding in their body: in the gums, teeth, sinuses, lungs, intestines, and more. These include parasites, viruses, bacteria, yeast, and fungus.
When you were first exposed, your body didn't have the energy or resources to fully fight them off. So it did what it could to keep them at a low level, waiting for the day it would have enough strength to finish the job.
On your mineral balancing protocol, your immune system finally gets strong enough to clear these infections out.
And when your body fights an infection? You feel exhausted. You might also experience other symptoms like a runny nose, cough, low-grade fever, or night sweats.
This is your immune system doing its job. And once the infection is cleared, the fatigue lifts.
7. Your Body Is Retracing Old Patterns
"Peeling off layers of wallpaper."
As your body heals, it has to go back through old patterns and undo years of adaptations and compensations.
Imagine a house with 20 layers of wallpaper. Every time the wallpaper went bad, the owner just slapped another layer on top instead of fixing the problem underneath. To truly fix the walls, you have to peel off each layer one at a time.
Your body does the same thing.
As it removes each "layer," you might temporarily re-experience old symptoms—including old patterns of fatigue—while your body properly rebuilds that area.
This is called retracing, and it's a sign of deep healing.
8. Your Hormones Are Shifting
"The dust will fly."
Your body will go through hormonal changes as it heals. Depending on which hormones are shifting, you can experience temporary fatigue.
Once the hormones rebalance, the fatigue lifts.
9. Your Body Chemistry Has Changed And Your Protocol Needs Adjustment
"Oops, we need new building plans!"
Sometimes your body chemistry shifts enough that your supplement protocol needs to be updated. If you're on the wrong supplements for your current state, you might feel fatigued.
This is why retesting every 3-6 months is so important. It ensures your protocol stays aligned with your body's changing needs.
If you're experiencing prolonged fatigue, reach out to me via WhatsApp. I can adjust your protocol or help you determine if it's time for a retest.
10. Lifestyle Factors Are Draining Your Energy
"The crew stayed out drinking all night."
Not all fatigue is a healing reaction. Sometimes it's simply the result of:
Not getting enough sleep
High stress or emotional upset
Eating too much sugar
Not drinking enough water
Not following your protocol recommendations closely
If you're feeling fatigued, double-check that you're following all aspects of your program: rest, hydration, diet, and supplements.

The Fatigue Can Feel Severe (And That's Normal)
Some episodes of fatigue can be so intense that they're alarming.
I've had clients tell me they couldn't even lift the TV remote. They couldn't summon the energy to walk to the kitchen. They felt like they were moving through mud.
I've experienced this myself during my own healing journey. It's real. And it's intense.
But here's what you need to know: this is normal. It's temporary. And it's not dangerous.
Most severe fatigue episodes pass within a few hours to a few days. Some people experience longer periods of deep fatigue during prolonged healing processes, and that's okay too.
Your body is working. Trust it.
Fatigue And Depression Often Go Hand-In-Hand
When your body is exhausted, it wants you unmotivated so you'll rest more.
Think about it: what's one of the biggest symptoms of depression? You don't want to do anything. You just want to lie around all day.
Depression can be your body's way of forcing you to slow down and rest.
During healing, depression can also be triggered by:
Releasing toxic copper
Retracing old trauma
Temporarily reduced hormone production
Dropping sodium/potassium levels
If you experience depression along with fatigue, reach out to me immediately. I'm here to support you through it.
How To Manage Fatigue During Healing
If you're in the middle of a fatigue episode, here's what you can do:
1. Rest As Much As Possible
This is not laziness. This is your body doing deep repair work. Honor it.
Aim for 8-10+ hours of sleep per night
Take naps (even 5-10 minute rest breaks help)
Cancel non-essential activities
Ask for help from family or friends
2. Drink Plenty Of Water
Hydration supports detoxification and helps your body eliminate toxins faster.
3. Eat Simple, Easy-To-Digest Meals
Digestion takes energy. Keep meals light and eat every few hours to maintain blood sugar.
Avoid sugar (it stresses your adrenals further)
Eat small amounts frequently, even if you're not hungry
Choose foods that are easy on your digestive system
4. Rub Your Feet
I know it sounds too simple to work, but foot reflexology really does help. Firmly rub your feet and toes for 10 minutes. It helps balance your body's energy and provides relief to organs under stress.
5. Reduce Your Supplements Temporarily (If Needed)
If fatigue is severe and overwhelming, you can reduce your supplement dosage or pause them for 2-3 days. This slows the healing process and gives your body time to catch up.
Important: Some supplements (like glandular support) actually help with fatigue, so stopping them might make things worse. Reach out to me before making changes so I can guide you.
6. Be Patient With Yourself
You may need to ignore well-meaning family and friends who don't understand why you're so tired or who pressure you to "push through it."
Do not feel guilty for resting. This is not laziness. This is healing.
Your health is the single most important investment you can make. The time you spend resting now will give you far more productive, energized years ahead.
7. Reach Out For Support
If fatigue is prolonged, severe, or accompanied by depression, message me via WhatsApp. I can adjust your protocol, offer reassurance, and help you navigate this phase.
You're not alone in this.
When Will The Fatigue Happen? How Long Will It Last?
It's nearly impossible to predict.
Some people feel better initially, then hit fatigue a few weeks in
Others experience fatigue almost immediately
Some go months before their first episode
Some people have subtle ups and downs; others have dramatic swings
Healing happens at its own pace, and every body is different.
What I can tell you is this: the fatigue is temporary. And when it passes, you'll feel better than you did before.
The Bottom Line
Fatigue during mineral balancing is not a sign that something is wrong. It's a sign that something is finally going RIGHT.
Your body is healing. It's removing toxins. It's repairing damage. It's releasing old patterns. It's building real, sustainable energy to replace the fake energy you've been running on.
This is the deep work. And it's exhausting. But it's also transformative.
Hang in there. Rest when you need to. Trust your body. And reach out for support whenever you need it.
You're not getting worse. You're healing. And I'm here with you every step of the way.
